Successfully implemented the “MyVoice: Empowering Youth for LGBTQI+ and Migrant Advocacy” project, funded by Çavaria. The initiative focused on empowering young LGBTQI+ migrants aged 18-30 through specialized advocacy and integration training.
This two-day intensive workshop provided participants with essential knowledge about human rights, intersectionality, advocacy techniques, and social integration strategies. Through non-formal and experiential learning methodologies, participants engaged actively in sessions aimed at understanding and combating discrimination, fostering inclusive community practices, and enhancing self-advocacy skills.
The workshop included interactive discussions, group exercises, and networking opportunities, creating a supportive and inclusive environment. Participants gained valuable insights into practical advocacy tools, mental health awareness, and strategies for effective community integration. By enhancing their knowledge and confidence, the project significantly empowered LGBTQI+ migrants, enabling them to actively advocate for their rights and integration within local and broader communities.
