Integration
Afis is an NGO founded to strive for more integrative practices and better living standards for migrants, refugees and 3rd country individuals living in Vienna and Austria. We design, organize and co-implement activities aiming at increase participation of mentioned groups in social, economic and democratic life in Austria.
Sustainability
AFIS is founded by it members with the principle of green transition for everyone, everywhere! Therefore, as AFIS we organize projects at local, regional and international level to raise awareness on sustainable practices, green education, and day-to-day environmentally friendly activities for supporting the just transition process in Vienna, Austria, and across Europe.
Active Participation for Disadvantaged Groups
Integration and sustainable living are bound to active and equal participation of disadvantaged groups in every aspect of life. AFIS works with empowerment of youth and people of all disadvantaged backgrounds to ensure a just, equal and inclusive social environment for better futures.
To achieve its objectives on these topics, AFIS organizes trainings and workshops, develops tech-based educational tools and methods, and co-creates local, national and international initiatives, also ensuring know-how exchange in these fields among various organizations and fields.
Our Partners
Arzu Tosayeva
Arzu is our technical financial manager, with a keen interest in social and rural development issues, which is why she decided to be one of the co-founders of AFIS. She is also interested in ecological practices in slow-fashion, and reducing carbon footprint is fashion industry.
Rashad Aliyev
The I.T. professional of our team. He is experienced in digital game development, learning system management (LMS) design tailored for educational needs and purposes, as well as creating mobile applications for educational purposes. He is also a part-time traveler and an anthropology enthusiast.
Frederica Bauer
Art director of AFIS, with a profound expertise in post-production and creation of creative videos tailored for educational needs. She is currently a student of Warsaw Film School and she was awarded with various national and international awards in film and television studies.
Ana Kabzinadze
Our communications director. She has worked with various international organizations in the field of rural development, where she gained vast experience in the field of strategic communications for international consortium management. She is also interested in photography and hiking.
Atilla Uysal
AFIS’s co-founder, and managing director. He is experienced in project development and management, as well as a side-career in voice engineering. He has been part of various companies in project management, while also developing his own mix of voice and songs, with a Youtube channel for entertainment, being followed by over 1000 voice enthusiasts.
